Static dynamic cushion
The Invacare Softform Active Cushion has been designed for patients who are considered at 'High Risk' of developing pressure ulcers and require pressure reduction 24 hours a day. The unique design features an alternating air insert beneath the castellated foam of the Softform Cushion, transforming the static cushion to a dynamic surface in seconds and offering the patient two cushions in one. For convenience, the alternating cushion operates from the same pump as the Softform Active Mattress ensuring the user has continuity of care.
An innovative static dynamic cushion
The air insert contained within the Invacare Softform Active Cushion allows stepping up and down between static and dynamic alternating systems with minimu patient disruption. The air cells work on a two up, two down function beneath the insert, delivering a very low impact at the point of change, thereby delivering high levels of comfort in addition to improved pressure reduction.
