Traceability system providing a solution to the increasing requirement to form a link between the medical device, sterilization cycle and patient.
Labels displaying sterilizer serial number, cycle description, cycle number, sterilization date and load expiry date are automatically produced when a cycle is completed successfully, for transfer to the processed load before storage.
After the procedure, the labels can be removed from the opened packages and transferred to the patient’s card. Alternatively the label code can be typed into the patient’s computer records or scanned in using a standard barcode reader.
