Test & Calibration Services
Dolby Medical has created a range of services for our Primary Care Customers, one call takes care of it all and we do not just cover equipment sold to you by Dolby Medical. All work is carried out by our national network of Graduate Engineers. Our Service Engineers are fully trained to National Standards and have received additional Manufacturer Specific training so you can be confident that they fully understand your equipment and are qualified to maintain it to the highest standards.
On-site Test & Calibration Service:
- One Call Sorts it All.
- Our engineers come to you and test all of your diagnostic equipment in one visit.
- No call out charge, no extra costs (such as postage) and minimal disruption to daily practice.
- Saves you valuable amounts of time and money.
- At the end of each visit, the engineer presents you with a set of certificates confirming the test results. Certificates are evidence of meeting nGMS contract requirements concerning inspection, maintenance and calibration and can be used to make monetary claims under the quality points scheme.We test the broadest range of equipment in the market place.
Available On-site Service Options:Contract:
- We arrange for a site survey of your practice to identify all equipment which can be covered.
- We will issue you with a quotation which is tailored to your practice.
- FLEXIBLE pricing options: designed around the size and needs of your practice - choose from single item pricing, or if you have a lot of equipment, then benefit from our half-day or full-day rate option.
- Choose from our Annual Contract or to benefit from additional discounts and the knowledge that your practice and equipment is covered select optional 3 or 5 year cover periods.
Non Contract:
- Once you decided that you would like us to test your equipment, fill in a pre-visit questionnaire. The questionnaire asks you what equipment you would like us to test and we use it to estimate how long your appointment is going to take. We will contact you within 24 hours of receipt of your enquiry to make an appointment for our engineer to call (minimum charge applies).
Off-Site Express Test & Calibration Service:
- The Express Testing & Calibration Service is available for small, portable items, which can be posted.
- On receipt of your items we guarantee to test, calibrate and adjust where necessary and possible, then return the items to you within 2 working days. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee to fix items that are broken or out of calibration.
Decontamination Equipment - Service, Test & Validation:All our Decontamination Engineers are fully qualified and independently certified to carry out Testing, Annual Validation and Service to national standards HTM2010 & HTM2030 in addition, all are fully manufacturer trained.
- Washer-disinfectors, Ultrasonic cleaners and Autoclaves covered in one service visit saving you time and money.
- Our Repair Guarantee means that if we are unable to fix your equipment on the day because of the need for a specialist part, then we will provide a stand-in unit, free of charge, if the suppliers are unable to send the part in 7 days.
Calibration and Repair Centre:Dolby Medical offers a full return-to-base Repair and Service facility. Our dedicated and highly experienced Service Team can organise a range of services for your equipment from Repairs & Servicing, Test & Calibration through to Upgrades.
- Flexible Comprehensive, Preventative and Partnership maintenance contracts, including options for Guaranteed Loan Equipment and Uplift Service.
- Bespoke maintenance contracts to suite your particular requirements.
Technical Helpline:
- Is your medical equipment working correctly?
- How do you operate a new piece of equipment?
- What make and model should you buy?
- We handle over 50,000 medical devices a year and are familiar with all problems and issues that may occur. We will just give you our honest opinion based on years of experience.
Asset Tracking:If you have a problem knowing what equipment is where, then our asset tracking service will help. We can help you keep track of all your medical equipment by building an asset register. As our engineers test all your medical equipment, they can add asset labels to each item for easy identification. These are then logged onto a register, which is then given as a full report to our customers.
Mercury Disposal:
- We are set up to remove and dispose of mercury containing medical devices, including mercury sphygmomanometers and mercury thermometers.
- Prices for this service vary according to the condition and quantity of mercury containing items required to be disposed of so please contact us for a price.
- Once an order is placed for mercury removal and disposal you will be given a date and time of collection. All mercury is recycled.
